Lough Swilly Yacht Club makes contribution to RNLI

Lough Swilly Yacht Club raised 2000 Euro for the RNLI at their annual dinner dance held recently at An  Grianan Hotel. Presenting cheque to John McCarter, Chair of Swilly RNLI Fundraising Committee, Commodore, Paul McSorley said, ‘We were delighted with the amount raised by our members. The RNLI provides a much needed 24-hour search and rescue service throughout our coastal waters. As a Yacht Club this is vital for us and all involved in any marine leisure activity’.  John McCarter, added, ‘We are delighted to receive this generous contribution from the Lough Swilly Yacht Club. As an organisation managed totally be volunteers, we are dependent on donations to enable us to provide our search and rescue service throughout the year.’
